A grumpy widower Otto Anderson, grieving the loss of his wife Sonya and pushed into retirement, plans to end his life until a lively young family moves in next door. He meets his match in the quick-witted, pregnant Marisol, and an unlikely friendship gradually turns his world upside down. This comedy-drama is a remake of the Swedish film A Man Called Ove, based on the novel by Fredrik Backman.
