When a wave of gruesome Smiling Murder cases shocks Hong Kong, reckless young detective Wang Bu Er and his seemingly muddle-headed but kung-fu-master partner Huang Fei Hong take on the investigation. To lure out the murderer, who appears to target former boyfriends of aspiring actress Liu Jin Shui, one of the detectives poses as her boyfriend.
